National Convention is perhaps the most eagerly awaited event throughout the year, concluding a year of work and dedication to the Classics. Each year, delegates from across the United States and Canada meet on the campus of a university to compete in contests and meet JCLers from around the continent. BLSJCL Officers also compete at National Convention in their areas of specialty, such as for the Publicity Contest or the Website Contest. Through activities such as Spirit and Fellowship, the MAJCL family also gets much closer and allows for more communication and friendship throughout the state.
For more information, check out the NJCL Website to learn more about the contests and the organization as a whole. Date: July 24th - 29th, 2016 Location: Troy University, Alabama (Check out the flyer, made by the NJCL Executive Board, for more information) |
