For one whole day, JCLers from around the state get together during the first MassJCL event of the year. At Kick Off, held in Mount Greylock Regional High School, students get to meet other delegates from many different schools and watch as each school launches their own homemade catapult and ballista. Along with catapult launching, students get to spend the day playing in Certamen scrimmages and pumpkin painting, or even visiting art museums nearby in the Mount Greylock area.
